when you pray, heaven moves here.
-
prayer is the real work.
Living as a missionary in a different country brings both beauty and brokenness. There are moments of joy, new relationships, and seeing God move in powerful ways — but there are also unseen battles: spiritual resistance, loneliness, cultural fatigue, and the weight of being far from home. That’s why prayer isn’t just appreciated — it’s essential. When you pray for me, you’re not doing something passive. You’re participating in the mission, standing in spiritual agreement with what God is doing in a place you may never physically go.
Your prayers cover more than my safety and success — they carry me through discouragement, give me wisdom when I feel stuck, and remind me that I’m not alone. Every time you lift up a simple prayer, it pushes back darkness, strengthens my heart, and invites heaven into the everyday moments of ministry. Whether I’m sharing Jesus in a one-on-one conversation or navigating a day that feels completely overwhelming, your prayers matter more than you’ll ever know.
In Scripture, Paul often asked the churches to pray for him as he preached the gospel. He didn’t ask for comfort — he asked for boldness, clarity, and endurance (Ephesians 6:19–20, Colossians 4:3–4). I feel the same. Your prayers help me walk faithfully in my calling, protect me from spiritual attack, and stir up the courage to keep saying yes. This work is never mine alone — it’s ours, together. Thank you for standing with me in the way that matters most.
