• Pray that I share the gospel with boldness and love.

Ask God to fill me with courage and compassion — that I would speak clearly, live faithfully, and reflect Jesus in everything I do.

• Ask God to prepare the hearts of the people I meet.

Pray that the Holy Spirit would soften hearts in advance, and that the seeds of the gospel would fall on good soil and bear fruit.

• Pray for lasting transformation in the lives I touch.

I don’t want just moments — I’m praying for disciples. Ask God to raise up lasting faith in those I serve, and to build strong local ministry around them.

• Pray for unity and grace in my relationships with teammates and local believers.

Serving together isn’t always easy. Pray that I would be patient, forgiving, and encouraging — always aiming for unity and love.

• Ask God to help me build genuine connections with people in the culture.

Pray that I would listen well, love deeply, and earn trust — even when language or customs feel unfamiliar.

• Pray for wisdom and humility when conflict arises.

If disagreements or tension come up, pray that I would respond with a servant’s heart and a peacemaker’s spirit.

• Pray that I adapt well to a new culture and way of life.

There are days when everything feels unfamiliar. Pray for flexibility, patience, and a heart that embraces the people and culture around me.

• Ask for help as I learn the language.

Language opens doors. Pray that God would help me learn quickly, communicate clearly, and not be discouraged when it’s hard.

• Pray that I come ready to learn — not just serve.

Ask the Lord to give me a teachable spirit. I want to honor the people, the culture, and what God is already doing here — not just bring my own ideas.
